Hi Dave......I have tried many marketing methods, but what has worked best for me (and also is the least expensive) is networking and referrals. It all started by joining the local Chamber of Commerce and attending their breakfasts and lunches. Brief performances and distribution of my cards and brochures has led to paid shows I never would have been able to book before. Once at the show I make sure everyone at the show has access to my contact information also. yesterday I did a show in San Francisco at a Residential Care facility. Not only are they going to book me again in January, but while in the process of loading my props back into my car on the street, I was stopped by two different people who wanted my card and brochure and they may be booking me in the future. In short, I have stopped almost all of my paid advertising and I am using the networking/referral method exclusively. I believe if this is worked properly, it can snowball. Thanks, Charlie
